  • Parameters

Chemical Name: Ferrous Sulfate Monohydrate  -Feed Grade

CAS NO.: 17375-41-6

Formula: FeSO4·H2O

Property: Grey White powder

Features: Feed grade ferrous sulfate monohydrate is produced by wet volume removal, recrystallization dehydration and stainless steel equipment drying process. The product has the characteristics of high content of main elements, good solubility, good color, no caking, good fluidity, no crushing and no screening.

Applications: Iron is one of the necessary trace elements for animals. It is a component of hemoglobin, myoglobin, cytochrome a and some respiratory enzymes. It participates in the transport, exchange and tissue respiration of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the body. Iron is related to the formation and maturation of red blood cells. Iron enters the young red blood cells in the bone marrow hematopoietic tissue and combines with porphyrin to form n-heme, The latter reacts with globulin to synthesize hemoglobin. Ferrous sulfate monohydrate is used as an iron supplement in feed.
